This is my site @ Wincustomize
After having Object Desktop for 10 months I just realized I couldn't change the icon for the "WINDOWS" folder. I found a nice icon I thought I would use for it but the customize tab is not there in properties. ( windows xp professional). I checked around & noticed it's not axailable for "Program Files" or "system32" foldeers either. I could not find anything in Icon Packager to do it but I could change it with "Magic Tweak". Maybe that could be something for the next release of Icon Packager?

Some say it is not very clever to change the icon of the windows folder. There are still some programs out there, that can't 'see' contents of customized folders and therefore fail. I personally noticed this with some freeware file-managers several times and my purchased cd-manager...

Hmmm, that is odd, because I'm using the pixOS icon pack and all my 'special' folders are using the pixOS version. WinXP Pro SP1 and the latest Icon Packager.
